It has a history that goes back nearly 2000 years; flourishing in Saxon times and was a strategic stronghold for King Alfred the Great. Wareham is the start of many of our walking and cycling routes to explore the rest of Purbeck.

THE JURASSIC COAST

CORFE CASTLE

MONKEY WORLD

THE BLUE POOL

blue poolThe Blue Pool at Furzebrook is surrounded by 25 acres of heath, woodland and gorse interlaced with sandy paths. A unique, tranquil place that is well worth a visit.


LULWORTH

DORSET ART WEEKS 2014

WAREHAM & PURBECK YOUNG FARMERS

REDCLYFFE YACHT CLUB
